Module 1 - Why your website isn’t working (and it’s not your fault)

 

Before you change a single word, you need to understand what's actually going on. This module gives you the big picture - the difference between a website that looks good and one that actually converts - and why that gap exists on almost every small business website. You'll do a quick, honest audit of your own site so you know exactly what you're dealing with and what to prioritise first.

 

After this module: you'll know what's broken and feel relieved it's fixable.

Module 2 - The words that do the work

 

Your homepage has about eight seconds to convince someone they're in the right place. Eight seconds. This module shows you how to write headlines and page copy that speak directly to your ideal client - without sounding salesy, corporate, or like you're trying too hard. You'll learn the one mistake almost every About page makes, the simple headline formula that works for any service business, and how to close the gap between what your pages are saying now and what they should be saying.

 

After this module: you'll have a homepage headline that actually makes people feel understood.

Module 3 - Getting found on Google (local SEO, made simple)

 

If your ideal clients can't find you, the rest doesn't matter. This module demystifies how Google decides who to show, how to make your Google Business Profile work harder for you, and how to find and use the right keywords for your area - all without needing to be the least bit technical. Step-by-step walkthroughs inside both Wix and Squarespace so you can implement changes on your own site straight away.

 

After this module: Google will actually know what you do, where you do it, and who for.

Module 4 - Making your website easy to say yes to

 

Getting visitors to your site is one thing. Turning them into enquiries is another. This module covers calls to action that actually get clicked, contact pages that reduce friction, and how to build trust on a budget - reviews, photos, and the kind of social proof that genuinely works for small service businesses. With practical walkthroughs for both Wix and Squarespace.

 

After this module: your website will have a clear path from first visit to getting in touch.

Module 5 - Keeping it working without it taking over your life

 

A realistic, honest look at how to maintain your website going forward - without it becoming another thing on the to-do list that never gets done. How often you actually need to update it, what to check each quarter, how to use Google Search Console without it feeling terrifying, and when it genuinely makes sense to get professional help rather than DIY it. You'll finish this module with a simple action plan you can actually stick to.

 

After this module: you'll have a plan that fits your real life, not an imaginary one.
